HRC: "I sometimes feel like the Goldilocks of this campaign... Not too much, not too little, just right..."
Really? Are you serious?
I wish Obama would refer to her as Goldilocks in a debate...

Hilldog takes no shit from O'Reilly
Parts 1 and 2:
I thought she did great... we'll see how parts 3 and 4 go... Obama's still the man...

May they beat the merth out of her...
I'm just gonna work my way down the most ridiculous Jordan post to date... A rebuttal, if you will, to be followed with an independent post at a later date...
So Hillary is a policy wonk--big deal. So are Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and pretty much all the "intellectual neocons" and they fucked things up pretty well, didn't they? Not just to compare HillDog to the Republicans, John Kerry, Al Gore, and Mike Dukakis weren't exactly policy-illiterate themselves. It's not policy that the Democrats lack, it's the personality to win a presidential contest. Dubya didn't win because people thought his ideas were better; Dubya won because people liked him better. And nobody likes HillDog. Even the people who vote for her...
And her life-long pursuit of power at all costs.
The bitch ain't John Edwards, no matter how bad she wishes she had a penis.
That pesky war that she voted for and is now against... Sound familiar? Only one Democratic candidate had the foresight to see that our shenanigans in Iraq would become an "occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences." Hillary couldn't make the right call the first time... Should we give her another chance to bow under the pressure? Or should we just trust her once we give her the Presidency?
Her Senate record has been, from the start, a calculation to win the Presidency. Or do you support amendments to the Constitution to criminalize flag-burning? Because that's the kind of "working with the opposition" HillDog does. Shit that'll never pass but somehow people think is still working "across the aisle." Get your head out of your ass.
On the issue of who has run a better campaign... Who was the frontrunner a year ago? Who's the frontrunner now? I think it's safe to say that Obama has won more votes, more states, and more delegates than HillDog. And she had the biggest machine in political history. And Obama brushed it off with 1 million new donors and shitloads of cash. He may not have run the best campaign in PA, but he's definitely run the best national campaign of the two candidates. HillDog's had to fire her campaign manager and chief pollster [Mark Penn was negotiating Free Trade Agreements with Columbia while HillDog was "opposing" them for chrissakes].
I couldn't agree with Jordan more on this part:
But this part:
Is TOTAL BULLSHIT. Firstly, NAFTA has fucked thousands of American workers out of jobs. And that is totally Bill Clinton's fault. It should have never been signed. And if HillDog is gonna run on how great the 90s were, she's gonna have to run on the shit they did in the 90s that fucked us in the 2000s. And since you're using Liberal with a capital "L," I can't disagree with you, except to say that in that case being more "L"iberal is a good thing.
I agree whole-heartedly with Obama that political prudence is not enough to move Washington if it is not accompanied by a groundswell of support that starts at the grassroots level and filters up through the representative system and into the legislature. And it is for that reason I hope to see him on the ticket, and in the oval office come 2017.
Yeah, 2017, after all these young, educated people with money get pissed off, leave the Democratic Party, and vote for fucking Mitt Romney so they can keep their money. Political movements are tenuous, and if you're gonna throw this movement away hoping that it'll come back in 8 years after a HillDog Presidency disaster, I've got some oceanfront property in Utah that might interest you. It used to belong to Mitt.
Now, as far as that whole apologetic last paragraph--just more Jordan bullshit. Facts are stubborn things. She can't win. Even if she wins the nomination, she won't win the Presidency. The real reason Hillary Clinton is still in this race is to destroy Obama's chances and assure herself of an opportunity in 2012, cuz she'll be too old in 2016. See here.
And ataraxia is "freedom from worry or want"
That's what I'm talking about...
For her passionate, studied knowledge of policy issues,
So Hillary is a policy wonk--big deal. So are Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and pretty much all the "intellectual neocons" and they fucked things up pretty well, didn't they? for her life long dedication to public service,
And her life-long pursuit of power at all costs.
for her insistence that Presidential campaigns address crime and poverty in a concrete fashion,
The bitch ain't John Edwards, no matter how bad she wishes she had a penis.
for her determination to end the war in Iraq as responsibly and expediently (in that order) as possible, and
That pesky war that she voted for and is now against... Or should we just trust her once we give her the Presidency?
for her proven desire and ability to work with the opposition when prudent and possible,
Her Senate record has been, from the start, a calculation to win the Presidency. Or do you support amendments to the Constitution to criminalize flag-burning? Because that's the kind of "working with the opposition" HillDog does. Shit that'll never pass but somehow people think is still working "across the aisle." Get your head out of your ass.

I couldn't agree with Jordan more on this part:
Obama has criticized not only Bush's policy decisions, but the mindset that informed them: namely, the elevation of the irrational and narrow-minded over the reasonable and progressive. In other words, Obama has chastised Bush for abandoning the long and important tradition of American Pragmatism.
But this part:
Obama has seemed to do the same, cultivating a Liberal (and yes, Obama is more Liberal than HRC) ideology, exploiting economic fears, and grandstanding on abstract principles that have ballooned far out of proportion.
Is TOTAL BULLSHIT. Firstly, NAFTA has fucked thousands of American workers out of jobs. And that is totally Bill Clinton's fault. It should have never been signed. Why am I about to start blogging again? Because Jordan's an idiot...
Well well well, after reading Jordan's blog, and the endless nonsense that comes with it, I've decided that I would start blogging again, if for no other reason than to harass Jordan about some of the more ridiculous things he's said... For instance:
And what's this crap about "a hunger that was born of all things in this country that can... be better?" Empty metaphors should be banned on all blogs. Feel free to harass me if I use them... I deserve it... And so does Jordan...
Secondly, was April 22 really one of the best days of your life? Personally, I puked. I mean, HRC is the scum of the political world. And I mean that relatively... They may all be scum, but she's scummier. The scummiest, as it were. April 22 was a chance to put this already-way-too-fucking-long primary contest to an end and get started with the real fun--watching Obama clobber J-Mac. But alas, it wasn't meant to be, because people in Pennsylvania for some ridiculous reason trust Hillary Clinton... Or they just don't trust Obama. Regardless, it's looking like another month of this oh-so-boring primary...

Barack and Hilary, on the other hand, have been starving since they knew how to talk, a hunger that was born of all the things in this country that can, and should, be better, and I think that makes them better candidates, and will make them better presidents.I'm a Democrat, but you've got to give ole "100 years" his due... While it's unfortunate that the Democratic nominee won't be running against Dubya this year, the truth is that we're running against John McCain, who, if you're using "starving" as a metric to qualify for the Presidency, literally starved for years in a Viet Cong prison camp while Obama was globetrotting and smoking pot (no wonder he's hungry). On that note, I wonder if Hillary ever inhaled...
As for me, I look forward to exercising my American right to a secret ballot, so while I can't tell you whose lever I will pull (thats what she said), I can tell you this: I expect April 22, 2008 to go down as one of the best days of my life, fo sure.
And what's this crap about "a hunger that was born of all things in this country that can... be better?" Empty metaphors should be banned on all blogs. Feel free to harass me if I use them... I deserve it... And so does Jordan...
